I Can See the Future posted by Mindgutter | Thursday, October 30, 2008 | 6:14 PM | la_z_guido@hotmail.com There's some pretty wicked music dropping left right and center. And it's getting me all warm and fuzzy inside.Especially this new track from Tiga. Mind Dimension 2 sounds more like a track from his alias with Zombie Nation "ZZT" as it steers clear of the sound of the solo work as Tiga from the past like "You Gonna Want Me". I think Tiga demonstrates how forward thinking he can be by producing a track that I would definitely not call "safe". He puts himself out there by pushing the boundaries by making something completely bold and different. You may or may not like this track (or agree with me on that matter). It's quirky yet heavy. I enjoyed it though :) Tiga - Mind Dimension 2 (YSI) Some blogs have been pushing this particular track as the Soulwax Remix of Mind Dimension on hypem. This could be to get more visits on their site. But I'm not terribly concerned though as I think it is not the remix. Much Love, Mindgutter 3 Comments:is this from la friendly? because it's a mono rip converted into 320. that site is such a fucking joke. you're better off posting the streams that ohh crap linked.
By it sucks when la friendly posts shit like this and it just gets propagated elsewhere, especially when they tote it as an exclusive.
By Thanks to LAFriendly, it's really version.

The Remixes Keep a Coming
posted by Mindgutter | Wednesday, October 29, 2008 | 6:03 PM | la_z_guido@hotmail.com This is partly due to some very clever marketing by running a pretty wicked remix comp of his new awesome track "Woah". I've received a steady stream of remixes of this track by artists both big and small. For this post I want to shine the limelight on a rather new producer called Digitalfoxglove. This remix is clean and sexy (as opposed to dirty and ugly i guess :P ). Grum - Woah (Digitalfoxglove Remix) (YSI) I'm going to take this opportunity to blog some tracks from random artists that I am really digging at the moment. These aren't exactly brand spankin new but I'm dropping these tracks to very very positive responses at gigs (girls taking their top off with glee, dude who's peaking at the front exploding with excitement and trying to touch you over the dj decks... you get the picture). Oh... And I fucking love Tepr... How could I possibly resist? Kid Sister - Pro Nails feat. Kanye West (Tepr Remix) (YSI) Who's coming over the new year period... You guessed it... PUZIQUe - Don't Go (YSI) Don't you love the raunchy house feeling this track has got? It really shows the versatility of Boys Noize I say. That's it from me today. I'm pretty excited about the halloween parties popping up everywhere and Social Killers Club this weekend. Much Love, Mindgutter 5 Comments:
Great tunes, love the Tepr mix.

Guns'n'bomb - brings the riddle.
posted by MANAGEMENT | | 4:19 PM | info@trashbags.net.au Saturday 14th of July 2007 we were proud to present guns'n'bomb as our first international artist we had ever brought on tour, little did we know it was going to be the start of something much bigger. Guns'n'bomb have returned with something amazing, dark, distorted, you would think oh shit, its The Proxy, but it does have lots of different things that makes it their unique piece. Its got the Johnny & Filip touch, giving it a catchy melody line, that they know how to do best, here is the track riddle of steel, its only streaming quality, so if you want 320kb, make sure you buy it. Treasure Found
posted by Mindgutter | Thursday, October 23, 2008 | 4:01 PM | la_z_guido@hotmail.com Well... this isn't exactly the NEWEST treasure. But its very sexy treasure fingers indeed. I'm talking about the very sensual Treasure Fingers from the US of A.After the release of Cross the Dancefloor, Treasure Fingers became one of the hottest things in blogland. But what's even more blogworthy (wow, I nearly typed bogworthy... that would have been terribly awkward) is that they have now been remixed by their Canadian buddies Chromeo very recently. This remix is featured on the Fools Gold Scion sampler which is available on beatport with a whole bunch of other remixes by/and of other artists. It's been out for about 2 weeks and still very fresh with artists like Surkin, Kid Sister, Kid Cudi and Jokers of the Scene just to name a few. Treasure Fingers - Cross the Dancefloor (Chromeo Remix) (YSI) I'm going to throw the Lifelike remix in for good measure. Treasure Fingers - Cross the Dancefloor (Lifelike Remix) (YSI) Well thats it for me this week. Much Love, Mindgutter 2 Comments:Loving the Lifelike mix there- and some proper dynamics too! I'm starting to get fed up of dance tracks getting supercompressed to a squishy bassdrum mulch, it's such a breath of fresh air to hear the rest of the track.

Fresh air indeed! Treasure's killin' it at the moment! Can't hear Cross the Dancefloor enough!

Last time was with D.I.M at his apartment, this time, it was at Kill the Radio, still feeling seedy as fuck, good friend, Rob [Redial] sends me this track, and holy shit!, its been on repeat since 2pm, it is one of those tracks, that needs to be added to every dj's playlist. its become top 2 tracks on my current playlist, with also Danger - into the galaxy remix, which is also amazing! Currently signed to sweat it out, there is no surprise why 3 of the coolest labels around the globe are chasing REDIAL to release his 2nd EP through them. Although i would love to leak the labels interested, i've been asked that its confidential, so you will just need to wait and see. REDIAL 2nd EP - Early 2009. mastered version will be coming sometime in the next month or so, but for now i leave you with Shout - Tears for fears, [REDIAL remix] Redials myspace Shout - Tears for fears, [REDIAL remix] - yousendit Shout - Tears for fears, [REDIAL remix] - Zshare enjoy 13 Comments:who wants our redial?!

I want our Redial... hehe...
By
telly, do you have steve angello & laidback luke - be?
By
when is this guy going to get original and come up with his own sound?
By i have personally been watching redial for a while now and he is def a copycat artist... calling in sick - copied. danger - copied. just a band - copied. who will be next? or will he eventually come out and show his own true artistic talents. i hope so. if his originality was as good as his production quality then there could def be something to look out for..
By i agree with the majority, from what i hear he is a laptop dj with sets already laid out, and blatnently copeied sebastian, post some orginals please!
By
agreed. however, cant hear the sebastiAn influence. but def kavinsky.
By I typed THUNDERPUSS in google and a bunch of gay porn sites popped up......ha
By
Thunderpuss - Ive been around alot longer than calling in sick dont know how you came up with that. Danger, well yes he's been a big influence but never copied. Just a band? i used one sample? Im not complaining about how many artists you have copied with your rather average 90's disco.

The Don of Music
posted by Mindgutter | | 4:45 PM | la_z_guido@hotmail.com Don Rimini has been cranking out some pretty epic tracks. Since Let Me Back Up (Crookers Remix) annihilated the early half of 2008, he's been pretty busy. With a dj history dating back to raves and techno and his heavy hip hop influence, Don Rimini is an infusion of sounds so rich, that they blow away crowds all over the world. I've already written about this self confessed geek since his track "Rave On" exploded onto the blog-sphere. And now I have a super sexy remix of The Count and Sinden that he's done. The track is called Hardcore Girls and the Don Rimini reworking is definately nasty. Enjoy this one. The Count & Sinden - Hardcore Girls [featuring Rye Rye] (Don Rimini Nasty Boy Mix) (YSI) Well I'm done for now. Expect some pretty big news in the very near future about this French demon. posted by Mindgutter | Sunday, October 19, 2008 | 7:31 PM | la_z_guido@hotmail.com Wow... My liver is pretty destroyed from last night aye...At the end of the day it was pretty worth it though. Anna and I went spastic behind the decks dropping everything from Alan Braxe, DIM, Fckn Crew and everything in between just before Strip Steve stepped up to take the reins and continue belting out the tunage. But I digress... I am very excited to present you a supercharged mini-mix Fckn Crew have sent me with a slew of tracks and remixes from their upcoming EP "Class of Nuke'Em High". Fckn Crew was actually one of the first artists I ever blogged. They violently grabbed my attention with their epic banger Beatnicks which I continue to drop at most gigs to crowds frothing at the mouth screaming "MORE FCKN CREW"!!! And it looks like their production is going from strength to strength. Their latest installment appropriately named Carnage is a sick track with some pretty cool horror movie samples (chainsaws, deathly screams etc etc). Even the mighty Toxic Avenger has had a stab (pardon the pun) of remixing this track with harrowing results. I heart Fckn Crew with everything I have. Download this mix. It's a deliscious taste of what's to come. Fckn Crew - Class Of Nuke'Em High Mini-Mix Tracklissssst... Gay Dentists and Oizo
posted by Mindgutter | Thursday, October 16, 2008 | 5:43 PM | la_z_guido@hotmail.com Wow...After all these years Mr Oizo still remains at the forefront of music. I've always rated Oizo as one of the quirkiest and craziest producers but after seeing him play at We Love Sounds at Sydney, his passion and enthusiasm behind the decks has secured him as one of my favourite djs also. Now with an EP on the horizon, he's about to shower the world in sweet sweet Oizo lovin we all love to have all over our face (sorry for the bukkake reference, I couldn't help myself. His track is called Gay Dentists after all). Bringing funk and fun to the dancefloor, I present you two of his latest tracks. Mr Oizo - Gay Dentists (zshare) Mr Oizo - Two Takes It ft. Carmen Castro (zshare) Now the next track I wanna share has nothing to do with Ed Banger or Oizo, but is a sexy addition none the least. One of his latest tracks, appropriately called WOAH is destined to be a summer anthem that will be heard in every club and festival throughout Australia. I also got an email from Futureflash (Germany) with a really really cool remix of this track. I imagine this remix was spawned from the remix competition held by Grum. He's got the remix elements of Woah available for download on his myspace. posted by Mindgutter | Tuesday, October 7, 2008 | 8:33 PM | la_z_guido@hotmail.com Before I get started on some of ze coolest new German tunes, I wanna mention that I saw Fake Blood at Parklife on Sunday. And it was, hands down, one of the coolest things I have ever seen! Now that I have gotten that off my chest, I'll get started on ze post (hahaha am I gonna annoy the shit out you be replacing "the" with "ze"? If so I'll stop. Your validation and love is important to me). :P Anyways..... Our friend Overthrill from Germanee gave Trashbagskids the honour of unleashing their epic mash-up of Lady Sovereign and SebastiAn to the world. And now, they have given us the honour of unleashing another cracker tune. This is one that can't be missed. Overthrill - The Thrill (zshare) Another awesome producer from Germany who has recently caught my attention is Futureflash. I'm really digging this tune and it has been remixed by a new favourite of mine: The Pelifics. So without further delay... I give you one of the sexiest 80's experience you'll have all week. VIVA ITALIA
posted by EVOJANY | | 7:12 AM | janepuchniak@gmail.com ![]() Enter Italy. And why should we be surprised? Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli. Italian. Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace, Valentino Garavani, Miuccia Prada. Italian. Italy is a country that is often associated with brilliance and innovation in terms of the creative arts and it has been raising the bar in terms of art and couture fashion for decades. They seem to exude phenomenal amounts of creativity and two recent electro duos are a shining example of this. Firstly, we have the CROOKERS. What can be said about the Crookers. They have an amazing ability to create and foster absolute recklessness on a dancefloor. What more could you ask for? As DJs and producers, their energy seems to feed off of one another which transfers well to the crowd and makes for a very experiential show where everyone leaves feeling satisfied. Never a bad thing. The Crookers first caught the attention of many with their Chemical Brothers' remix of the Salmon Dance. The WOW mix. Appropriately named. That WOW sample is seen again and again in their remixes and rightfully so. It packs a punch. They continued to remix the likes of Don Rimini (Let Me Back Up), Kid Cudi (Day 'N' Nite), Edu K (Gatas Gatas Gatas) and the Australian iconic rock band AC DC (Thunderstruck) and they have also released a few of their own killer tracks as well. Big Money Comin' was released in January 2008. Its reign of club play continues, and people don't seem to get sick of it. This is the trademark of stellar production. In August 2008 they dropped a remix for Busy P. Fabulously dirty. Fabulously ghetto. Fabulously Crookers. Another track which goes above and beyond their usual realm of excellence is that of 'Love to Push It'. Without question, the best remix of a hit from the 1980s mainstream to date. If the Ursula 1000 edit does not get you moving, I have no idea what will. As for the second Italian duo on the rise - we have Bob Rifo and Tommy Tea - affectionately known as THE BLOODY BEETROOTS. The Beetroots signed on to Steve Aoki's DIM MAK label and they have never looked back. And it shows. Their track 'Dimmakmmunication' brands the DIM MAK stamp right in the title and with beats like this, DIM MAK is lucky to have 'em. A great melody, driving bass and subtle vocals seal the deal for 'Dimmakmmunication'. The Beetroots are often compared stylistically to Justice which brings me to my film pick of the week. There is no doubt in my mind that this film will be epic. There is often a lot of anonymity associated with producers of electronic music and Ed Banger Records and Justice have decided to forego this notion of anonymity and give us all a taste of Justice's life on the road, or perhaps more accurately, their life jet-setting and gigging around the globe. The trailer leads me to believe that it will be an unprecedented masterpiece. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. And finally the music quote of the week. "There is a basic rule which runs through all kinds of music. Kind of an unwritten rule. I don't know what it is. But I've got it." - Ron Wood Look forward to more musical discussions direct from Canada to Australia. And remember, music is everything that is right with the world. Seek it out and enjoy it. Viva Italia, EVOJANY 7 Comments:not a fan of crookers

I've been in communication with Rayflash from Japan ever since and a few weeks ago he sent me a cracker of a track. But due to my PC woes, I haven't had the chance to blog it. But I'm on a bit of a roll these days and procrastinating from doing uni work seems like a great idea. So I present you an amazing remix he did of Artego that is as long as it is epic. Lovin it ;) Artego - Girl (Rayflash Remix) (zshare) Now in this particular post that I am writting, I'm quite keen to give you a few different sounds and styles that has really grabbed me by the balls (so to speak). And right now, Valerie is really tickling my fancy. A track recently posted on their blog strangely called "Guess What Paula, You're Sued" has me well and truely hooked. It's not the usual bangeresque type of track I'd usully post but it's something I know will be universally loved. Pelifics - Guess What Paula, You're Sued (zshare) And last but not least is the almighty Crookers. I'm diggin their latest EP which came out recently. One of the tracks which has been on constant repeat on my itunes is called Il Brutto. As they are Italian it kinda makes sense that most of their tracks have Italian sounding names (I think its Italian anyway). I digress. Download this track. Crookers - Il Brutto (zshare) Well thats for me. Another few hours spent NOT doing my stats assignment... awkward... Hmm. I'm off to Social Killers Club tonight. See yall there!
