Where were you 2 years ago?
posted by digs | Tuesday, July 7, 2009 | 11:28 AM | info@trashbags.net.au Long term friends, Tommy & Bobby, also known as The Bloody Beetroots, have hit the Rockstar status, which is Really really amazing, i applaud them, and i am quite amazed that we @ Trashbags picked them...... 2 years ago in october, - from all the hype now around them, people calling themselves true fan, i have only one thing to say, "Where were you 2 years ago" before they had wesc headphones or signed to Dimmak.Could it be that Trashbags is ahead of its time? I remember a year and a half ago, We were onto the Proxy, having him early February he sold out his Australian tour, and has really hit Rockstar status also, We could say the Same with Danger & datA coming off his Skywriter album. Here is a song, for those who remember Kill the Radio, or Trashbags @ Yu, and if you attended, you are the ones that could honestly call yourself "Ahead of your time generation" don't jump the wagon, and be a sheep, be a real fan and follow the artist and music. goose - everybody [the bloody beetroots chipmunk remix] Bob Rifo - Kinky Malinki (BloodyBeetrootsRMX) 13 Comments:Haha I was there guys and i was there on fri night! Frothing! Frothing! Frothing! Best Kill The Radio Ever!! By Hokus, at Tuesday, July 7, 2009 2:08:00 PM GMT+10:00 ahead of your time? or do you guys just know talent/goodmusic when you hear it? By Absentees, at Tuesday, July 7, 2009 2:12:00 PM GMT+10:00 i think knowing talent/good music when they hear it means that theyre bound to be ahead of their time haha By COULSON, at Tuesday, July 7, 2009 2:58:00 PM GMT+10:00

we are not the shit, its never about that, its about good music, good artists coming in early - and besides this Metro show was not a Trashbags event, so it clearly states we do not jump the wagon. - and quite obvious we cannot be the wagon jumpers, if we toured them first. - By digs, at Tuesday, July 7, 2009 5:41:00 PM GMT+10:00

oh of course not. The "Trashbags" party are not for everyone, its more for those who enjoy music and internationals they will not hear elsewhere. More underground, less mainstream. By digs, at Tuesday, July 7, 2009 5:54:00 PM GMT+10:00 haha, i know exactly what you mean. By Absentees, at Tuesday, July 7, 2009 6:00:00 PM GMT+10:00 just check, august, september, october of 2007 on our side tab on our time machine, and you will understand why i posted this post. By digs, at Tuesday, July 7, 2009 6:03:00 PM GMT+10:00 props to you guys bringing out beetroots, guns n bombs and les petits before they were mainstream but you did just run a 'cobrasnake' event. Thats hardly underground. By MS-DOS, at Wednesday, July 8, 2009 10:23:00 AM GMT+10:00 Didn't think Classixx was mainstream. If they were, i should have put them at the Metro and filled it with 2000 people. By digs, at Wednesday, July 8, 2009 10:26:00 AM GMT+10:00
