posted by MANAGEMENT | Monday, September 28, 2009 | 12:31 AM | info@trashbags.net.au // So much in love - datA12:32 am. There is so much music i am currently listening too. But nothing has been on repeat more than datA, it might be the hype of his 2nd OZ tour this week, or it might be that i am just a complete fan, he has all the sounds i personally love, Synth, funk, Disco, and vocals. If you haven't bought his album yet, its a must have, there is one song that has blown me away. It's called So Much in love. The vocals make this song, although the singing doesn't start till about 3 minutes in, and its just a repeat of vocals, it's done well, and very very catchy. This is probably the song i will wait till he drops, which will get me swaying.. The most anticipated tour Trashbags has put together, comes together this Friday where datA will bust out all his tunes from his Latest and first album 'Skywriter' Be sure to catch him there. He will be amazing. . . if your up for a Frenchy with cool disco synth feel, you cannot go wrong with This week @ OH MY!. once again, as this song plays, it repeats itself over and over again.. Good night. and enjoy. datA - So Much in Love ![]() 0 Comments:Ecstacy... Ecstacy... posted by Bondy | | 12:10 AM | bondysprinter@gmail.com ![]() Hey guys, My exams are looming, and as I burn the midnight oil in my studious exam-revision mode, I will post some tracks that i'm loving at the moment. Now if you follow my posts you'll know that Tiga is my bro, I can't get enough of this "Off-The-Wall Montrealer's" music. Crookers did a remix of his single Beep Beep Beep, and is it sharp! Dark and brooding with a jagged and broken bassline, this is a big detour from Crookers' normally bouncy and squeaky stuff. I love it. Tiga - Beep Beep Beep (Crookers rmx) Tiga has placed his golden touch on the crazy swedes Miike Snow, and boy does he turn this track into a bassy dancefloor hit. Miike Snow - Black and Blue (Tiga rmx) Simian Mobile Disco are two lads that have an amazing ear for music. Sure they may have flunked English at school (Audacity of Huge lyrics = WTF), but these guys would have absolutely killed it in their electronics class. Their patterns and presets generated are so clean and refined, it's always a joy to listen to their music. This version techno's the original up a bit more, with amazing classic house-esqe vocals. I particularly love the stabs in this re-work. Simian Mobile Disco - Synthesise (No Voodoo Version) And now for an absolute classic, and by far one of my favourite club tracks. Made in the young and fresh year of 1990, this track is globally known for helping create the Rave movement. The legend is Joey Beltram, and the track is called Energy Flash. You may be surprised upon first listen because it may sound familiar to you, it's one of those tracks you've heard around somewhere, but you're not sure where you heard it. Throbbing bass, distinct string patterns, pitch shifted vocals... this song has it all. This track features in every set I play somewhere or another. Listen and enjoy. Joey Beltram - Energy Flash Have fun with those tunes, and i'll be back soon to show you some more! Til next time, Bondy 2 Comments:

Just this year Deathface has graced our shores playing along side Danger, Toxic Avenger, Passions, Bobmo, and others at the We Love Sounds Festival, and it seems like he is making his return back down under around October (according to his myspace) Anyways, he has sent me an email with some cool new remixes he has just done, and I thought i'd blog them. First remix is the Mexican Institute of Sound - Cumbia. This remix is definitely a track that should be played to hype the crowd up, its reminds me of the Proxy track '8000' which is yet to be released, but if you have heard it off sets and youtube or whatever, its got that arabic tune where in this case, its got that mexican tune. The beginning of the track sounds like you'd go into a south american or mexican festival and see a whole bunch of south americans or mexicans sambaing to a whole band playing it on the drums, bongo's and what not. It's pretty cool, it mixes things up until that Deathface sound kicks in, and you've got that heavy distorted sound ripping through snippets of the original. Have a listen. Mexican Institute of Sound - Cumbia (Deathface Remix) Second remix is Circuit Freq - Supertripper. This remix says Deathface all over it, from start to finish. If you haven't heard his sets, or any of his previous tracks, then I really can't explain to you this sound. Its got a mix of dubstep & distortion, that wobble bassline dubstep has mixed with that grunge distortion. People may like it, people may not like it, but we from Trashbagskids love this sound. Circuit Freq - Supertripper (Deathface Remix) Last remix is autoKratz - Stay The Same. Personally, this remix is different to the rest. Its a bit more laid back, and if you compare it, the two above are a bit more heavier than this one. This is a bit more fast paced, with a nice break in between with the vocals from the original track being played on a drum beat. It's pretty cool. autoKratz - Stay The Same (Deathface Is Different Remix) Be sure you check more of his remixes and original tracks later on. Perhaps maybe an exclusive minimix, or interview just for Trashbagskids. Who knows, but know one thing, he will be returning shortly to OZ. Fingers cross for a Sydney show. Check out his myspace for dates.
