Other than being extremely exhausted with limited sleep, i have decided to clean up our Soundcloud. it was Flooded. I would like to thank everyone who submitted tracks, It was great to see that i could pick 4 cool remixes, and tracks to put up, music i have really enjoyed in these past few days. I start with PNAU Embrace, this was mixed by Mick Matias, a very cool remix done well. A very popular track, and a crowd pleaser for all you Disco guys, although i will say this is a touch harder than other usual remixes of this, this is why i found this remix worth blogging. PNAU Embrace (Mick Matias Remix) A cool new group by the name of Hero sent me their song, Funeral March, this is a slow piece, and boy does this sound great. It reminded me of the soundtrack of Daft punk from Electroma. You can see some influences of daft punk cross Justice. This is very soothing, and easy listening. Hero - Funeral March Although i may be a touch delayed in posting high risers Religion, they have given me a remix of Lisztomania, its a touch harder than usual, and that's precisely what i enjoy about this remix, with a combination of Original tracks such as Vendetta these guys are definitely someone you want to keep an eye out for. They have been getting alot of attention in the blog world with plenty of djs doin some remixes of their great tracks, and here are 2 of the best i would say. The first is from Cassian, who is part of the Bang Gang crew and formerly known as CSK OK. Cassian has came along way and has been making some good music and heres one remix he has done of Empire Of The Sun's track "Standing On The Shore", which is super awesome. I've heard a dubstep version of this song, and I thought a heavy electro beat wouldn't be able to suit it, but then I heard this Cassia Remix of the song and it changed my mind instantly. I think this song originally has pretty strong lyrics, its catchy and it's very erotic. Cassia adds this heavy synth and a deep bassline. Sounds like a heavy guitar solo sped up to 130bpms. As much as we adore our noize, baselines and wonderland synths, there also comes an obvious appreciation for all styles of music and one we consider to be more enjoyable is NU DISCO. The first track i have for you is a remix by our friends Classixx, I first heard this track at a party, which Aeroplane were playing at, and straight away it caught my ear with its fathomless spine tingling indie synth, and alluring artistic sceney vocals, one for the early road to get the party comfortable. Yacht - Psychic City (Classixx Remix).mp3 The second selection is more of an upbeat typical disco jam...something you could imagine hearing in a movie such a resevoir dogs (if there was an expected good ending) maybe Mr Pink "Steve Buscemi" got his way in the end and was finally was called Mr Blonde.... i can imagine Tarantino using a song such as this...its deffinately something direct from the 70's/80's era and Inflagranti do it perfecty as they usually do. And finally some flavour from the underground charts, we all know how well yeah yeah yeahs have been doing and Roll Your head i believe is there best yet.....Passion Pit has put kinda of disco electronic synth infusion sound that reminds me of the early electro days back in 04, this one that seems to be the more popular of the remixes out there, again with a more heavier spin but still i believe playable at the most upbeat level.
