And as Parisians these guys are part of the cutting edge new sound that seems to be being created in France, where they are mixing traditional bangin electro sounds with finely tuned symphonic training (see Something A La Mode who are from the same area). The boys of Iron Toyz, Celement Roussel and Colino Grillet, currently officiate at one of the best classical music academies in Rueil-Malmaison and still find the time and energy to make bangin electro tunes. I`m glad that this work hasn`t killed the youth within them. In these three tracks you`ll hear the diversity of their sound, which ranges from beautiful symphonic violins backed by distorted synths to awesome old school transformer samples... FUCK YA AUTOBOTS! Here`s some tunes from their newest release, Lunar Castle. Good stuff. Waiting for the flea poison to work it's magic, I get introduced to Pornopink and then here I am. Like most music that come from Paris' Ile-de, Pornopink is no different; sheer quality. With piano riffs reminiscent of Redial and trashy synths with a Toxic Avenger flair, Pornopink goes all f#$king right to say the least. The guy has also just come out of a hiatus, so keep eyes and ears open for him. By Unit Thirteen has a distinct different taste, something far left of mainstream. Interestingly tattered with audacious scraps of distortion and bass that will shock you to your core. Something different, but far from indie, these guys have crossed the epic barrier to the extreme awesome. Fusing the industrial synthpop scene and breeding it with a new cocktail of darkness. These monstrous beats are ones not to be missed, I would love to see an act like this to shake up the ‘norm’. I would absolutely LOVE to see these badass artists shake the walls at Trashbags Night !

Today was a very unusual day for me, and this will be a very unusual post, this will be my first post that features so many photos, as i am no photographer, nor act as i am one, i leave that to the professionals, these shots are more for personal use. Today consisted of my aviators, my blackberry , and lollies on my other hand, it was an outing i needed to do, and that was finally to leave my bedroom walls and visit the Powerhouse museum, which had an exhibition down memory lane of the 80s, and what a day it was, seeing so many memories of what i had grown up to, Commodore 64, Wizards of WOR, pacman, frogger, combined with a another exhibition of the galaxy from far far away. Here are some snaps i took of the day.. You may appreciate it, or you may not.. but if you don't... one day you will.  The famous Mj glove... the glove that undenyably changed history, making him the king of Pop. He will be one of the memories that never will fade away.  To tell you the truth, i loved this game, Wizards of WOR, after 20 years, i jumped back onto this baby, and was killing it.. enjoyed it so much, .. how hard could it be, 1 button and left, right up down is all that was needed.     Ahh.. who would have thought.. a symphony played by 4 bears, consisted of the family of brass. Driving distorted bass lines with clean, crisp and almost...harmonic synths, makes one hell of a combination. Tracks to relax and groove on simultaneously, something I always appreciate. We'll start with Delphic who have been kicking up a storm lately. They fall in that indie-dance crossover genre (cue yawn), but there's something very natural and comfortable about the way they combine genres. The band uploaded the seperate parts of the previous single 'Doubt' on the web for people to take a shot at remixing a few months back, and some of the results are coming through thick and fast now...some great and some pretty terrible! Here's my favourites.. Clancy's remix never really kicks off in a big way unfortunately, but it's a great early-in-the-night tune. What a night Friday was as we all got our crunk on at the French Fries launch! very fun night! with with a change of music from hard trashy beats back to the old school hip hop along with disco beats, so still being feeling that vibe i thought i would post MattGC. This dj hailing from the sunshine state of Queensland really likes mixing disco with hip hop/rnb and he has done really well mixing LMFAO's popular track "im in miami bitch" which you hear everywhere you go, being busted out in clubs but this time he has put a touch of disco but still keeping the hip hop flavor there.
